Singapore Day 1

Travelling to a new place has always been my way of escaping from reality and sense of relief overwhelmed me once I saw the 'Singapore' signboard. Singapore was awesome, I want to go back there!!! I felt safer there than back in Malaysia! Public transportation  is more efficient and it's connected to most of the shopping malls there. We took the First Coach Bus and it was a 5 hours ride to reach Singapore, plus visit to the customs too. We were playing Blackjack and Chuo Tai Ti in the bus and talking and obviously we're the only ones not sleeping. I'm really happy that I have another country's stamp in my passport!

First day activity is shopping! So once we dropped our bags at Gary's (Samantha's really super nice boyfriend) place, we freshened up and ate some economy rice for lunch and took the MRT to Orchard Road. Orchard Road is deadly to your wallets. I mean it, a straight road and shopping malls in all shapes and sizes and it was during the Great Singapore Sale too.

Emily's happy!

Ice-cream Sandwich is more popular in the streets than normal  ice-cream cones  or the one with the stick. There was so many of these stalls as you go down the street.

People buying clothes in H&M like they have not seen clothes before in their entire life. It was like a warzone in there.

A birthday gift for my cousin.
Of course, I bought a few stuff from there and waited an hour to even enter the fitting room and it was nice that they have a spacious fitting room with a chair too but I can't wait for the H&M store in Malaysia to open and it will be a warzone too once it does so now I am prepared mentally and physically.

Time passed so fast that we were practically starving and we were wandering around looking for a decently priced place for dinner, then we stumbled upon this shopping mall with a super tall escalator and the little explorer in us took over the hungry cries of our stomach. The restaurants there were high end ones so we didn't have our dinner there but the view from the building was beautiful. I have forgotten to take a picture of the automatic doors that they have in that building! It made me feel like Magneto for a split second as I held my palms straight to open the door. ;) In the end we settled for Genki Sushi for dinner because Genki Sushi seems to be extinct in Malaysia and we were too hungry to even look for other things. I was too hungry to even take pictures.

I am so sad that we didn't have enough time and we were too tired to wait to try out this ice-cream! I'll be back Cold Stone! Wait for me!

Another really important place that we missed out was the Abercrombie & Fitch store. I was really curious to see if there are hot shirtless men with 6-packs working in that store and we did pass by it before and there was a few of them, shirtless at the entrance. I am drowning in regret right now.

The second day post will be about my trip to Universal Studios Singapore. Prepare to be bombarded with loads of pictures. :)

Pottermore

Currently, I collected 13 points for my house. Yup, as much as I am team Slytherin, I was sorted to Hufflepuff in the Pottermore website, much to my disappointment. I think it is karma because I was teasing Jaclyn like crazy because she was sorted into Hufflepuff first. I wanted Unicorn Hair or something for my wand but I didn't get it either. I choose an Owl as my familiar too. The first 4 chapters of the Chambers of Secrets book is out just to inform you, if you're a Pottermore member like me. :)

A long time ago, when Harry Potter was maybe at the 3rd of 4th book, they had a website too where you can get sorted and you get wands too and I got into Gryffindor in that website and I was so happy because that time I did not pay much attention to the other houses. Then, I noticed Draco Malfoy in the first Harry Potter movie, 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone', and my Gryffindor days are gone.

I did a small blogpost about him a long time ago here. I used to read a lot of fanfics that has Draco Malfoy in it when I was younger and I admit he's more hotter when he was younger. Now he's not so hot anymore in person but as Draco Malfoy, the hotness is still there. Thanks to him, I am into the emerald green/dark green color, it's an elegant and sexy color though. I plan to make some Harry Potter inspired friendship bracelets for  fun or maybe sell to people who might be interested in it. I made a Hufflepuff one for Jaclyn last year, too bad I don't have a picture of it. :(

Singapore here I come!

I'm going on a girls trip this Friday to Sunday with my girls, Emily, Amanda and Samantha! It would be my first time in Singapore so I'm pretty excited! We're heading to Universal Studios Singapore too! OMG I AM SO STOKED!!! Plus, it's our first trip together and we're going to another country too (actually it's just a bus ride away from Malaysia to Singapore but technically it's 2 different countries.)! Samantha's boyfriend was so nice to provide free accommodations for us there so we could save our money so BIG FAT THANK YOU TO HIM!

They are still having the Harry Potter Exhibition on Singapore too! I WANT TO GO SO BADLY! But it's pretty pricey for just an hour entry (it's timed entry). Heck, if I was feeling very stingy with my money on that day then I would rather just go to the souvenir shop to get my Harry Potter fix, more worth while in my opinion (aka I NEED THAT SLYTHERIN SCARF(though its going to cost me RM65,my inner Slytherin needs it and it can accompany me in my future travels.)!). I might not buy it if the materiel is not worth it so I may settle for the tie instead! The tie can be used if I ever feel like dressing up as a Slytherin student for Halloween and such (Nothing related to 50 Shades of Grey as much as I LOVE the series! CHRISTIAN GREY IS SO HOT!). Maybe I'll get the tote but I would treat it like my *cue Golum* 'Precious...' because it might get snatched by some uneducated people who does not know the worth of that Harry Potter bag. On a side note, to all Malaysians, BE CAREFUL AND DON'T WALK ALONE WHEREVER YOU GO!

Harry Potter has been my childhood escape to another world and it's really sad that it has ended. I will never forget the discussions that I would have with my friends after reading the books and I was such a dreamer that one day, I would actually get my acceptance letter to Hogwarts (Still waiting!). I made a Pottermore account too but I'll leave that for another post. :)

Sunway Lagoon with the Karats!

We welcomed freedom after handing in our last assignments for this semester by having a day out at Sunway Lagoon! This happened last month and we actually got to play some of the Extreme Park rides and enter the Scream Park because I managed to get All Park tickets for only RM50 which is half-price from the usual RM100! :)

Me, Joyana, Ayesha, Lena, Jaclyn and Charmaine/Kepoh. All the hot chicks in a row! XD
We met Joyana for the first time during this trip and thank god, we did not scare her off haha! Too bad we didn't get a picture of the boys!

The pictures are taken by Can. :)

We just had to make Jaclyn sit on this ride so that we can caption the picture 'Teacup pig!'. She could sleep all day, literally and still feel tired.

Look at these 2 Turkish boys! Hahaha!

Before going into the Scream Park.
I chickened out once it was our turn to enter because one of the workers' who was dressed up like a zombie jumped out of the door and scared Ayesha, Lena and I so never gonna step into that place ever again.

Look closely and you'll know why we're laughing at him.

Us on the Pirate Ship.  Since it turns 360 degrees, the harnesses were really  tight  so it really hurts and  it's scarier than the other 360 degrees ride because there's nothing to catch us if we all.

Had dinner at Teh Tarik Place and Kemalcan came to join us for dinner!

Ayesha and Lena left after dinner so the rest of us went to a mamak nearby cause the Turkish boys wanted shisha and we were talking about Kepoh's heritage cause she's from an indigenous group of Sabah called Kadazan. Jaclyn was distracted by the Harry Potter movie which was playing on the TV.

We're going to have a early celebration for Ayesha's quarter of a century birthday tomorrow! Can't wait for it! She's going to be so wasted. XD

Charmaine/Kepoh's 21st Birthday

Kepoh = Nosy brown noser. That name is already imprinted on her to the point where I introduce her as Kepoh to my parents haha but that name is really suitable for her because she's like a stalker/spy and she knows about things before we even know about it and she accepts it too. :P

This was a really last minute thing because Kepoh was suppose to go to Langkawi for her birthday but that plan was cancelled so a bunch of us just made an impromptu plan to celebrate it in a club and we found out that Bedroom has a deal of 2 vodka bottles for only RM500 per table so made the reservations a night before. Then on the 23rd June, we met in Morganfield's for dinner and after that we head to Bedroom .

All pictures are taken using Ayesha's camera and Ayesha so credit goes to her. :)
This was taken when Ayesha, Kepoh and I was getting ready at Ayesha's place and we were sharing the hair curler. We were arrived late but we were fashionably late.

Birthday girl looking beautiful on her big night! :)

Most of the girls who came. Ayesha, Kepoh, me and Joyana. Dickson was shocked after he took this picture of us cause we look hot, hahaha!

The boys! Dickson, Kemalcan, Berk, Farid and Can with his infamous 'arms wide open' pose.

We just had to take a picture with Can posing like a pimp and we even taught him how to say 'Ladies' and 'Pleasure!' cause we want him to be a ladies' man. At the same time, at least he's improving his English.

The lovely couple, Joyana and Dickson and they met during National Service and has been together ever since then! :)

The BFF's! Most people thought they were gay cause they are always together but they're not! Berk's leaving  on the 18th so we're pretty sad. :(

Can and his antics. :)

Ayesha and I. :) It was my first time wearing red lips and I have to say, it did boost up my confidence and I feel sexier. ;) I was wearing a black lace toga dress which I got from an online blogshop years ago so I can't remember where with my first 4-inch heels which I bought a day before from Nichi for only RM79.90, it was really comfy too. Surprisingly, Nichi's shoes are pretty nice and affordable and not auntie-ish cause usually their clothes are mostly bought by aunties.

Farah bought our birthday girl a Flaming Lamborghini and after that a shot of B52. Plus, she had a shot of Bacardi too and before that she had a few glasses of vodka mixes. She was pretty much wasted so it was a success! She was so entertaining in that state and we couldn't stop laughing about it the next day. There was a lot of 'I Kissed A Girl' moments too. ;)

I don't know if I was yelling or debating about something with a glass of water in my hands. Trying to sober up cause I was feeling a little tipsy already. You can see my shoes better here!

Still got energy to pose at the end of the night and I think Can took this picture. Joyana is giving the 'don't look at me'  pose.

To conclude that night, we discovered that Can speaks fluent English when he's drunk so we plan to make him drunk so that he can speak to us properly in English. He was actually talking to some random dude in the club in English and he even understood what he was saying and he doesn't even talk to us like that when he was sober! Farid was drunk on just on Orange Juice and he was dancing with the Turkish boys on the dancefloor which was so funny so we gave him the name O.J. It was my first clubbing experience with my friends in Malaysia so it was fun because of the crowd that I went with but the music in the club was so bad that we wanted to move to another place but we didn't cause we were waiting for some people to come.

Next one will be for Ayesha's birthday and Berk's farewell and I can't wait for it! :)
