Game Day Look (for the future)

The only way we can catch the NFL games over here is through TV. Which is sad because we can't really feel the real vibes. But, I wish that one day I can actually catch one of the games live in action! For now, I have already envisioned what would I wear to watch my first football game!

The most important accessory to show support to your favourite teams is a cap! So I found this pretty cool company, Fanatics which has a huge variety of hats, beanies and caps from all of your favourite NFL, Nascar, and NBA teams! I picked this cap because I got a feeling that the L.A. Dodgers will be killing it this year!

mlb cap l.a. dodgers

Another reason I would wear this cap is because I think you can never go wrong with black! Plus, it has the Dri-FIT tech which is really important so that our heads won't be dripping with sweat during the games. So our make-up will still be intact! ;)

I went for the full on Athleisure trend with this cap! I am all about the comfort when it comes to fashion and for these kind of events. Also, the pink sleek sling bag would give a nice pop to an all black outfit!

We should try matching our outfits according to our favourite team cap colours! It will be different than the usual match your accessories to your clothes approach. A great idea if you are starting to get bored of your style.

You can find a few caps in different colours from Fanatics. That way you can change the cap according to your mood! So what would you wear to a football game? Share your outfit ideas here or on my Facebook page! :)

Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No.3 swatches and review

I am still gushing over my first Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con No.3 eyeshadow palette and I can't bear to use it yet! So this is the first time I'm using it, to swatch it on my arm. My eyelids shall wait until I feel like it!

Marc Jacobs eyeshadow
It comes with a pouch to protect it, if that doesn't say Luxe then I don't know what is. Also, it comes with an eyeshadow puff too!

Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palette
Yup, has a thin plastic to protect the shadows inside.

Marc Jacobs eyeshadows
Now this is a great palette for those who love their neutral and brown shadows!

Marc Jacobs Eyeshadow swatches
These shadows were so smooth and pigmented!!! It glides on so easily and you have one matte shadow (On the left) which you can use as a base shadow, while the brown would be great for the outer crease and the coppery shade will amp up the look even further! Adding the coppery shade in the middle of your lid will make your eyes brighter and stand out more.

In other words, I ♥♥♥ palette and I can't wait to check out more of Marc Jacobs makeup line! If you have any recommendations on what I should try out next, do let me know in the comments or leave a message on my Facebook page! :)

Birthday and Christmas presents from 2014 with some reviews and swatches

Who doesn't love getting presents? I love it more when my presents come from my favourite people! Thank you very much to everyone that wished me and the ones who gave me these awesome gifts! You know who you are. :) Take a look at what I got last year!

My birthday presents! :)

These nail polishes are apparently scented once dry, can't wait to try these beauties out!

I love the pastel pink colour of the card! Also, I haven't used it yet. :P

One of the best gift ever! I love Marc Jacobs and I wanted to try his line too so thank you for reading my mind! Swatches will be up soon in an oncoming post!

These are the contents of the Clinique box and I can't wait to start using the cleansing balm! I have never used one so reviews and swatches will be up soon too!

This is going to be part of my traveling kit! Who doesn't want to smell like an angel on a vacation? This scent is one of the popular scents and if you're into sweet with a touch of muskiness then you'll love this! To make the scent last longer, apply the lotion after bathing with the shower gel and then spritz on the body mist!

Now onto the Christmas presents! :)

I gave a wishlist to my Secret Santa so she granted one of my wishes! Thank you my dear! :)

I love the colour! I can see why it was all the rage in South Korea at one point. It's a very flattering coral colour which looks great on the lips and the cheeks as well! It has a great staying power too since it's a stain and it's thicker than the Benetint so application is easier.

Bangles are a necessity for your outfits especially the bohemian style!

Thank you to a dear friend for these souvenirs from USA! You know that I love my bling and I am curious about the foundation too!

Another big thank you to the person who knows how much I love traveling! I'm going to use this to record down the trips that I'm going to!

Also thank you for this cute canvas! It's now part of my room interior!

Also, did you all visit the 1600 pandas exhibition in Publika last month? I looked from the outside and I thought I showed my support by getting this adorable towel! PANDAS UNITE!

I thought maybe we could start this what I got for my birthday and Christmas kind of post as a trend! It'll be fun to see what you guys got as gifts! Also, whoever's birthday that lands around this month is very lucky because you get double angpau! I hope you guys are having an awesome Chinese New Year and fellow Goats, let's be strong to get past this year smoothly! :D

Choi's Don and Dak Gal Bi!

Just when you think you've run out of Dak Gal Bi joints to check out, then comes Choi's Don & Dak! Opened by Mrs Choi who hails from Incheon, South Korea, her restaurant is where you need to go to taste really yummy Dak Gal Bi (Grilled Chicken) and Jumuluck (Grilled Pork). She prepares the marinades, side dishes and meat personally so that everything that comes out from the kitchen is up to her standard. Also, she's all about fresh ingredients and using less oil and preservatives!

It's just a few shop lots away from Snowflake.

The tables and grills are imported from South Korea which in a way, makes the experience more authentic, don't you think?

I had the chance to try the grilled chicken and pork with other food bloggers. This here is the Jumuluck table where Mrs Choi said is with the spicy sauce. Price per person is RM22.50. Add RM2 if you want the spicy sauce.

This is the Dak Gal Bi table which I sat which had the non-spicy sauce. Both pans have the usual ingredients of cabbage, tokpokgi, mushrooms with the marinated meat at the bottom. Price per person is RM19.80.

It's not completed yet!

At this stage, the waiter will add in the extra ingredients which you can order beforehand, here he added the mushrooms (RM8) and sausages (RM8).

At the last stage, usually they'll add in the noodles, Korean udon noodles (RM7) was added to the Dak Gal Bi.

We asked the waiter to shape it into a heart since well, it's good food porn! The chicken pieces was really tender and sweet, it was so flavourful thanks to the marinade! I like how you don't feel very thirsty after eating this since it's not overcooked and the ingredients are all fresh.

Here's the Jumuluck pan, where the same add ons were added but instead of udon noodles, Korean ramyun noodles (RM6) were added instead.

And topped with Mozzarella cheese (RM8)!!!

Cheese is good!!! Also, it wasn't as spicy as I expected. The pork pieces are marinated to perfection just like the chicken! However, I prefer the chicken, somehow it's more sweeter and delicious!!!

She cooked us some Korean Ramyun (RM12) too which I think I had before but I can't remember the brand and flavour. I thought it tasted a bit bland, maybe it's because of the awesome grill meat.

Next, we tried the Korean Jjapaghetti (RM7.80). I guess this is instant noodles like the Korean ramyun. However, I have tried instant Jjajang noodles and I am not a big fan of them. I rather have the freshly made Jjangmyun because the sauce and noodles taste totally different and way nicer than the instant ones.
So, I'm not a fan of this.

Lastly, the waiter cooked us some Fried Rice with Dry Laver aka Seaweed (RM7). Cooked rice, seaweed, kimchi and cabbage are cooked in the empty pan because we basically finished both pans. That's how good it is!

Heat some sesame oil then everything is cooked together. Then, it is flattened so that the bottom is evenly grilled and it's scrapped into a roll and it goes into our tummy!

Most of us had Mocktails as it was recommended by Mrs Choi so they have the virgin Mojito and Pina Colada (Both are RM7.50 per glass). The mojito was refreshing after having grilled food while the pina colada has a strong coconut taste.

I had the Shirley Temple (RM6.50) which was a strawberry soda. I am not a fan of carbonated drinks but I like Shirley Temples!

Thank you Mrs Choi for your kind hospitality! I'm definitely coming back for your awesome Dak Gal  Bi! :D
