Dream Trip to Macau

I have been to Macau for the first time this year but I need to go back again! I love how Macau has a mix of so many different cultures and with that, gave Macau it's own charm. Here are three reasons why I have to go back:

1. To Bungy jump from Macau Tower

Now this is the main and tres important reason why I need to go back! I want to take a giant leap of faith, literally and get a bird's eye view from top to bottom! Besides that, it has the Guinness World Record for the Highest Commercial Bungy Jump in the world! I want to be the first among my family and friends to jump off buildings! :P

2. To chomp on the super duper delicious Portuguese egg tarts and Macanese cuisines

This beauty needs to be in my stomach again. I wish Lord Stow's available in Malaysia so that I can eat it whenever I want! The crispy crust and, sweet and smooth custard in the middle is just breathtaking! Best when it's warm but when you have it cold, it's just like pudding!

I haven't got a chance to try Macanese cuisines so given a chance to go back, I would love to chomp on Minchi, a savoury dish with pork and potatoes and...

Galinha à Africana aka African Chicken. It looks so good, I have to try it for myself! To me, eating dishes that locals have for dinner at home, helps me learn more about their culture. Like food for the soul.

3. To visit the A-Ma Temple, Guia Fortress and PANDAS!!!

What's really special about A-Ma Temple is that it has different halls dedicated to different deities so people from Buddhism, Taoism and many more beliefs can come here to pray and offer offerings. It has also existed before Macau was even formed! I would love to visit this temple to admire it's long history and culture!

It's amazing how people are able to build fortresses such as the Guia Fortress eons ago and the buildings are still standing today! I would love to visit the chapel and lighthouse and witness the influences from Chinese and Western cultures that took place in the construction of the buildings.

I was aware about the Macau Giant Panda Pavilion when I went to Macau last January but I never got the chance to visit it. Also, I have missed my chance to visit the pandas in our National Zoo. So I really really really want to see the adorable pandas! :)

All in all, Macau Government Tourist Office and Nuffnang Malaysia should send me to the 3 days, 2 nights all-expense paid holiday to Macau because I would love to share my Macau adventures to the world and from there, everyone will put Macau as one or better, the top of their Must-Visit places list! Also, I really miss the Portuguese egg tarts!

If I was chosen as one of the winners, I will scream, 'I LOVE MACAU!' and 'I LOVE NUFFNANG!' as I am bungy jumping from Macau Tower! So thank you to Macau Government Tourist Office and Nuffnang Malaysia for organizing this exciting competition! :)

Beachin in my dreams

I love Polyvore! Or you can say my love for Polyvore is back! Recently, I stumbled upon a pretty cool website called Glasses Online selling designer glasses and sunglasses plus contact lenses as well. Then, that Derek Lam, Sammy sunglasses caught my eye and my imagination went wild! I always have a thing for leopard-esque brown shades like these. Even when I'm playing Sims 3, I always make my character wear sunglasses like these with her swimwear.

I imagined that with that sunglasses, I would be lounging on the beach with a good book. Clad in a white one-piece swimsuit with gold flip-flops and a woven bag. Very Hollywood-esque. Well, only in my dreams I am living that glamorous vacation. But if I win those sunglasses then I am one step closer to my dream vacation! Help me get a step closer by liking my post on Glasses Online's Facebook Page!

Roxy Prize Giving Ceremony

Very late post about this party but better late than never right? :)

Roxy organized a Hula Night themed party for us at their newly opened Boardriders Cafe in Mid Valley and at the same time, they had the prize giving ceremony to the winners. I didn't have any Roxy dress that's suited with the theme so I got one a day before and I love it! It's so pretty! :)

Me posing with the Nirve bike which the grand prize winner, Kimberly Wan won as one of her prizes! So happy that she won! Actually it was expected or  more like I had that gut feeling the moment I saw her that she's gonna win it. I had that same gut feeling last year when I first saw Natasha. You know how people always say to trust your guts? I guess my guts was right!

Plus, I miss my long hair. T_T

So nice to be reunited with most of the girls again! It was fun catching up with everyone!

Ry-Ann is really cool because she's with Epic Homes so she builds houses for the poor people or aboriginals in our country. I really want to try that one day!

Geena just finished the MMA Ring Girl competition before she came for this event. She's super tall and has a curvy body so obviously she's a potential MMA Ring Girl! ;)

Syazza, Diandra, Ry-Ann and Aamelia gave their best Jenna Marbles impression!

Diandra after that night was known as Watermelon girl because she ate most of the watermelons from the buffet spread.

Yasyka, Kasumi and the rest of the girls played with Yasyka's Fish-Eye lens for a while. Yasyka made her own floral headpiece while Kasumi DIY-ed a bunch of flowers from Daiso! Creative!!!

That adorable girl behind is Cheyenne and she came all the way from Penang! She used to be blonde but she went back to black cause taking Form 6.

One of my favourite pictures ever!!!!!!! I think they are a natural at this.

Single photoshoots outside Boardriders Cafe! Thanks Diandra for taking this.

With the winner! Enjoy your Bali trip, Kimberly!!!

Goodies from Roxy, Inglot and Amber Chia Academy! That bracelet was made by yours truly! All of us girls were busy killing time before the party started and it was difficult to put those beads through the strings! I stole the orchid from the coconut drink. :P

With that certificate, I can prove to future employers, my kids and grandkids that I am a Roxy Girl. For all you know, I might be the surfing grandma in the future! :P

Roxy's Dare Yourself Day 3: Mid Valley Fashion Week!

I bet most of the other Roxy Girls were waiting for this event the most! We had to go shoe hunting for shoes which are strappy and with at least 2 inch heels and either in beige, white or pastel colors.

Initially I wanted to hunt around Sungei Wang or Times Square since they sell cheap shoes but I ended searching in Fahrenheit instead because there's a floor with quite a number of shoe shops.

The minute I saw these, I was like omg, I need to try this on! I did, it was comfortable and the best part was it was only RM45 because it was on the sales section. Like say what!

However, I did not do the 'walk around the shop for 10 rounds' in these shoes because I was rushing to get dinner before the shops starts closing. So when I walked in these during the fashion show rehearsal, my toes kept slipping out because my feet was sweating like Niagara Falls cause I was so nervous. That made me walk like a clumsy duck and I was advised to get peep toe shoes since my toes kept slipping or get padding for my brown heels. Then I realized that the shoes were too big for me, that's one of the reasons why it kept slipping out so easily.

So I was upset that I didn't do very well at rehearsals because of my shoes, my nerves and I tortured my poor feet. So after rehearsals we girls went to get brunch then I went shoe-hunting with Ana, Natasha, and Ramona.

I couldn't find any white or nude peep toes at all from the usual chain stores like Vincci and Nose but luckily I found one really pretty pair from VOIR.

Thankfully my toes doesn't slip out too much in this pair.

All of us got our hair done at A-Cut Above, Mid Valley and make-up done in Inglot! They had to put our hair up in a bun so that our curls can last longer until the fashion show.

Me and pretty Diandra after hair touch ups and in our fashion show attire!

Some pictures credit to Dustyhawk, Senri, Roxy and Kelvin. :)

Some touch ups at Inglot too. I wish I can wake with nice hair like this or maybe looser waves.

Celine, Ana and Yasyka, all looking gorgeous!

Hats galore in the Roxy store!

Actually I have been aiming at this dress for the longest time, even before the fashion show! So I was really happy that I got to wear this dress for the fashion show! I think it was fate. I was known as the bride for that day cause I wore a cute peach rose hairband too.

Pretty Kimberly and Dora!

It felt like a red carpet event. Grateful for everything that has happened.

Omg, I was so nervous and I watched the video to see how I did at the catwalk. Gawd, I was walking too fast and posing too fast. Mum said I wasn't smiling big enough. Too nervous and scared to do that, mum!

My last pose. Thanks to whoever that has managed to capture this.

I seriously love Kimberly's dress cause it's blue. I love blues and purples!!!

It was a night to remember. Being able to do this again is really an honor and the girls made it more fun and awesome! I love everyone's outfit! This year's collection is way better than last year, more pretty dresses and  tops! I wish I could have it all!

Here's the video about our entire Roxy experience from Day 1- Day 3! Hope you enjoy it! :D

P.S: There was this really yummy mochi that was served during the Fashion Show and I really want to eat some again. Sadly, I don't know the brand so if anyone knows the brand please let me know in the comments. :)
